Dear Families:

It’s with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to Los Niños Elementary School. This school year I was afforded an amazing opportunity to serve you as Principal and as Bilingual Director. Much of my expertise has been as a Level III Teacher. I hold a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis area of Reading, a Bilingual, TESOL, ESL and Modern and Classical Languages endorsements. I also hold a license in School Administration. The networks I have cultivated throughout my time with the district and in the community will be an asset used to best serve students in a positive manner.

The staff, students, and families at Los Niños have a great deal to be proud of and to celebrate. With the consolidation of the elementary schools, we will now have remarkable opportunities for collaboration amongst grade levels to enhance student success.

Throughout the summer months, I was amazed at the commitment and dedication to teaching and genuine love for children that this staff has for its students. Many were eager to enter into the school before its time and took on additional roles to aide in summer programs, curriculum alignment, and identifying focus areas through the use of data

Building a strong learning community involves everyone including students, teachers, staff, parents, and the community. I look forward to meeting all of you. I encourage each of you to become more involved in your child’s education. Helps us pack our hallways during our monthly school activities, as well as supporting our school PTA meetings and functions.

I am looking forward to a fantastic year with many positive things happening in terms of student learning.

Sincerely,
Carla Pacheco
