Sierra Vista Elementary School and its faculty would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to our local Wal-Mart Supercenter and to Mrs. Veronica Allen for the generous gift of $1000. Our school was recognized under Wal-Mart’s Good Works Teachers’ Rewards Program on December 21, 2012. Each of 10 teachers received a gift card in the amount of $100 to be used to support ongoing classroom instruction. We are thrilled to receive this bonus to provide materials and supplies for everyday use and special projects. Our wish list includes everything from pencils to googly eyes! Thank you, Wal-Mart, for your ongoing support on behalf of the children of Sierra Vista Elementary School and the Las Vegas community. Your partnership makes this community great!
